Lenovo’s ThinkCentre Neo 50q pairs 32GB RAM with a compact desktop footprint

Lenovo’s ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 5 is listed at $1,049 on the company’s US online store, according to Notebookcheck’s November 2 report. The reported offer takes $880 off the compact desktop, a discount of approximately 45%. Pricing reflects the offer described at publication and may change.

The configuration combines 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory with a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 TLC SSD. For readers considering a small PC for everyday desktop work, those are the central specifications behind this particular deal.

Memory and storage in a one-litre case

Inside is an Intel Core 5 210H processor with eight cores and 12 threads, split between four performance cores and four efficiency cores. Notebookcheck says the ThinkCentre operates that processor with a 35-watt power profile.

The included SSD occupies an M.2 2280 slot, and the report identifies a second M.2 slot. The enclosure measures 179 × 36.5 × 182.9mm, putting its volume at around one litre.

Plenty of connections, with modest graphics ambitions

The listed connections include three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with PD 3.1. HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and a 3.5mm audio jack are also included. Notebookcheck additionally lists a punch-out position for optional connections.

For gaming-minded buyers, graphics deserve attention alongside the generous memory allocation. The system uses integrated Iris Xe G4 graphics, which Notebookcheck characterizes as suited to basic GPU workloads such as video acceleration. The practical takeaway is to judge this configuration primarily as a compact productivity PC; the supplied report does not establish gaming performance for this specific system.
