Switch 2 datamining report points to 13 Bloodsworn in The Duskbloods

Reported datamining findings have offered a possible look beyond The Duskbloods’ network-test roster. According to Notebookcheck’s October 31 report, files associated with FromSoftware’s Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive suggest 13 playable characters, known as Bloodsworn.

That would be more than double the six characters the outlet says were available during the closed network test. The reported total remains unconfirmed, however, and should be treated as a clue about the game’s development rather than a settled launch roster.

Weapon entries offer clues

Notebookcheck says the findings were collected in a public Google Sheets document initially shared on The Duskbloods subreddit. Rather than providing character names, the reported entries identify weapons, leaving some interpretation to the community.

The outlet cites Reddit user NeedleKnightLenny, who associated an entry called Golden Scarab with Layla. Another entry, Nike Wheel Spear, reportedly corresponds to a weapon carried by a mini-boss in the network test. Those observations do not establish how either entry will appear in the finished game.

A reported link to Switch 2 homebrew

The report connects the discoveries to an alleged Switch 2 jailbreak that it says enabled homebrew tools and access to game files. That connection is part of Notebookcheck’s account; the roster findings do not independently confirm the exploit’s capabilities or availability.

For players following Switch 2 modding and data mining, the distinction matters: extracted entries can reveal material in a build without establishing what will ship. Notebookcheck’s report leaves both the final Bloodsworn lineup and The Duskbloods’ release timing unresolved.
