Press-fit printed trim gives an O11 Vision Compact a custom interior

Conceptual editorial illustration of a glass-sided desktop PC with sculptural trim and loose printed inserts on a work surface, not a photograph of the featured build.

Custom trim is the focus of a completed Lian Li O11 Vision Compact project shared by u/Usual_Rhubarb342 on r/lianli. The builder describes a set of 3D-printed cosmetic inserts that reshape the PC’s interior appearance.

Twelve pieces, fitted around the hardware

According to the builder, the heat-resistant plastic inserts comprise 12 separate pieces, weigh just under 700 grams combined and took about ten hours to print. After trying different mounting methods, they chose press-fit parts positioned by the case frame and component edges.

The builder lists an NZXT N7 B650E motherboard, Kraken Elite AIO cooler and 8.8-inch display. They also explain that the cooler’s tubes run through the rear chamber and acknowledge inconsistencies in the print finish.

Cooling impact remains unmeasured

In replies, the builder says the central vertical bars use an open supporting frame rather than a solid backplate, while acknowledging some airflow obstruction. No published temperature benchmark validates the design.

The project’s appeal is its cosmetic customization; a thermal benefit remains unproven. There is no confirmed downloadable file release or kit sale.
